Epworth residents are crying foul of health services at the local clinic. Patients are taking long hours before receiving treatment and this is not acceptable because of the pandemic.
In an interview with one of the patients she complained that, “after waiting for long hours doctors select 10 to 15 patients who get service that day the rest are sent back home without treatment.” Patients are now opting to go to private clinics were they pay more money.
In interview with a young woman who was sent back without treatment she said, “i don’t have any other option but to return tomorrow morning because I do not have money for private clinic where I get treatment fast.” She also added that, “doctors come late and they leave early and they don’t care about serious patients.”
