Nyasha Manzou, founder of Bright Movement and host of the enlightening talk show “My Period Talk with Nyasha Manzou,” is making remarkable strides in her mission to empower individuals and address critical issues surrounding menstruation. Every day at 7 pm, she leads thought-provoking discussions on period poverty, menstruation, and menstrual hygiene, shedding light on essential Sexual Reproductive Health Rights.
Her talk shows have been highly informative and impactful, with numerous attendees sharing testimonials about how her teachings have helped them manage period pains and improve menstrual hygiene. To further her mission, Nyasha introduced a PadHub in Mbare, providing free or affordable period products and accessible information to those in need.
Currently, she is running a donation drive, seeking pads, clothing, and non-perishable items to support her cause. Her efforts have already positively impacted 30 underprivileged girls, who receive sanitary wear every month. Nyasha’s dedication to menstrual equity and education is truly commendable, and her unwavering commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive community is inspiring.
