On the 1st of November 2021, TaLI officials visited Bravo village for the ground-breaking ceremony for the Provision of Clean Renewable Energy and Piggery Production for Sustainable Development and Livelihoods. The programme started at 0800hrs with the registeration and introductions from the village head.
Mr Gomwe from Hurungwe RDC gave the opening remarks. In his opening remarks he thanked UNDP and GEF for the development and indicated the RDC’s commitment in making the project a success. He also urged the beneficiaries to personalize the project and commit to it as it was for their own benefit.
A project update was given by TaLI Director where she mentioned the upcoming project stages. The village head officially handed over the land to TaLI on behalf of Chief Chundu. The land was officially handed over to TaLI Director and the beneficiaries and a ground-breaking ceremony was done. An affidavit was signed officializing the handing over of the land.
