“Violence against girls and women inhabits development efforts by destroying the lives of thousands of girls and women. Through educational talks within communities on the rights of women and girls and on the channels for denouncing cases of gender-based violence, we raise awareness and raise awareness of targets and actors in the fight against the scourge at various levels. Advocacy series are also organized at the location of municipal officials to encourage them to free up resources to support structures for the care of GBV cases. This is our contribution to the fight against gender-based violence.”
Woman is no different from man, the only difference is on “wo” or “s” in she. Men say the abuse of women dates back to the time of creation,”God created Adam and Eve is a departure from him,” so they say. I see it with open eyes that Eve is actually a refinement of her counterpart ,thus men and women are equally yoked.
women are objectified,
Women are turned into sex objects, childbearing machines.
They are invisible.
They live at the margins, periphery and outskirts of the society
Decisions are made on their behalf
They are deaf , blind and are the voiceless,
All this is gender based violence ( emotional, physical & psychological abuse)
I stand firm & fair as a fellow woman to say no to GBV of any form!
Allow women to be seen and heard, they can decide for themselves, they are human too, they are the” fairer sex” and not victims…they equally have the right to vote,go to school,be employed, be in politics and be involved in decision making
If not now, when? If now ,who?
Say no to any form of violence including physical, emotional, psychological, sexual or economic violence.
