My name is Manyera Kundai, a 21 year old final year sociology student at the University of Zimbabwe. I am a good listener, confident, strong and hardworking. The LEMHs programme helped me in shaping my career goals, I now know who and what i want to be, It helped me to discover myself as a leader and to also set my personal leadership plan as well as getting knowledge of my rights as a woman.

From the LEMHs training, i have decided that i am going to teach my community about Sexual Reproductive Healthy and women’s rights and that is where my passion lies. I also inspire to teach young girls in my community on financial literacy and business management as well as on how to engage in business.

As a leader i poses skills like confidence and being a good listener. After the LEMHs program I have seen changes in my life which include being a person who is now able to speak for her self boldly and make decisions. I am applying the skills that I learnt by teaching young girls about self awareness, leadership, SRHR and climate change among other things that I learnt as a LEHMster.

In 10 years as a trained, skilled empowered LEMHs alumni, i see my self as someone owning a disability center, a lot of activities for the different disabled group as I will be helping them explore their talents and make them have projects. I also see myself as a great leader and a women’s rights activists.
