Just after the YEG training, Farai Murambwa was invited to speak at an international CIVICUS conference in Paris. Unfortunately she couldn’t attend the conference in person because her visa was delayed but she virtually attended the conference and she spoke on behalf of other girls.
She presented on the Education Financing Indaba on the challenges faced by AGYW in accessing education amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Zimbabwe. This was a high -level meeting and as a result of the YEG training, the young woman gained confidence and was articulate on women’s issues.
